Hello.
- Qual-leaning mixed-methods UXR
- AI-native research workflows
- IC and research leadership
Welcome to my portfolio. I'm a mixed-methods UX researcher with 10 years of experience across Meta and Google, studying how people discover, connect, and participate in large-scale social products. I started my career as a software developer, so I'm comfortable moving between human behavior, product strategy, and technical systems. I love working in small, nimble teams and believe in doing just enough research to answer the question - then making sure the answer changes what teams do.
At Meta, I led research for social and community experiences in Messenger while staying close to hands-on work. I shaped product and research strategy, guided a four-person research team, and built a rapid research program used by more than 30 researchers. My recent work has spanned Meta AI adoption, LLM-assisted analysis of messaging data, Messenger Notes, and early-stage content discovery - always with a focus on getting research into planning and investment decisions.
Before that, at Google, I led research for AdMob, a monetization platform for app developers. My work helped diagnose why the product was not the market leader, informed its platform strategy, and gave product, sales, and marketing teams a shared understanding of AdMob developers through widely adopted personas.
